WHO WE ARE

LONG ISLAND SCHOLARS is a community-based educational nonprofit dedicated to college and career readiness, access, and success for motivated LI public high school students and recent graduates from families with combined federal adjusted gross income of $125,000 annually.

We are actively recruiting current sophomores, juniors, and seniors and recent graduates for our free program. Email us at info@longislandscholars to set up an interview.

We launched on May 11, 2019 with a free College Essay Workshop, offered in conjunction with the global Yale Day of Service.

In our inaugural year (2019-2020) we are offering Long Island Scholarships to eligible public school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Recipients benefit from up to $20,000 in free, strategic educational consulting, test preparation, college application, and high-school-to-college transition support--all the way through the end of their first semester in college.
