2020-2021 College Admissions Outcomes

2020-21 was a pretty brutal college admissions season, as you’ve probably heard (and a pretty brutal time all around). We are proud to share that students and families working with our Director of Educational Consulting (most on a paying basis, as private clients, a few on a pro bono basis, through Long Island Scholars) all met their goals, receiving offers of admission from the following institutions:

  • Adelphi

  • Amherst

  • Cornell

  • Duke Kunshan

  • Emory

  • Fordham

  • Georgia Tech

  • Hofstra

  • Ithaca

  • Johns Hopkins (with a $40,000 named scholarship)

  • Loyola Marymount

  • Marist

  • Northeastern

  • NYU

  • Stony Brook University (Honors College)

  • SUNY Binghamton

  • UC Berkeley

  • UC San Diego

Long Island Scholars receive FOR FREE exactly the same counseling and support, as well as access to the same programs, which our Director, Dr. Shawn Garrett, provides for her private clients--and experience the same kinds of outcomes in college admissions. Eligibility requirements for Long Island Scholars' programs:

1. Student is a sophomore, junior, or senior currently enrolled in a public high school in Nassau or Suffolk County, NY.

2. Student has a 3.3 unweighted GPA.

3. FAFSA EFC of $20,000 or less (we can help you figure this part out).
